While in the process of researching on language, in relation to deconstruction/ miscommunication/ misconception and Derrida's term "différance", I came across the quote 'When everything has become language, it is because al hope of understanding is dead', in J.M.G. Le Clezio's 'War.
The screen recording showcases the first steps of experimentation with the quote on Photoshop, the unexpected error due to a corrupted font family and the final "coded" text was used for further experimentation.
The concept is about transforming an error/failure of reading, into different forms of language and communication. The sound is one of the several transformations of the coded text.
'When everything has become language, it is because all hope of understating is dead'
'The text never means only what is says or says only what it means'
