INSTALLATION, 2015
This installation examines how systems governed by identical parameters can still produce unpredictable variation.
The work operates as a study of contingency: a demonstration of how outcomes emerge from the interplay of forces rather than from deliberate control. Even under total standardization, identity can emerge from sameness - subtle differences shaped by external factors that cannot be fully defined, such as air flow or vibration. Within this mechanical setup, individuality arises not from intention but from deviation: from uncontrollable variations that resist uniformity.
The illuminated, clinical setting emphasizes the work’s procedural nature, presenting drawing as an autonomous system where one witnesses the unpredictable within the controlled.
